PortSide Intro to Assessing Your Flood Risk in Red Hook

Free Stress Counseling Services in Red Hook

  • Red Hook Project Hope has been working in Red Hook since soon after the Sandy and provides free, anonymous, emotional support services to residents affected by Sandy, as well as connections to recovery resources.   • Visiting Nurse Service of New York offers clinically trained in-home therapy sessions if you are feeling stressed out or overwhelmed by Sandy-related issues.

  • Community Health Advocates is providing health care services and information to individuals, families, and small businesses.

An excellent event called Storm Preparedness For Small Business provided preparedness tips that are also useful for home owners and non-profits.  SBIDC set up this program which was run by The Dewberry Group which studied three Sandy case histories in Red Hook before coming up with their recommendations.
