Outdoor exhibit on the deck of our flagship MARY A. WHALEN and the fence of PortSide Park.  When it is raining, the content on deck will not be available (video booth and reading material). The exhibit banners on the fence are available 24/7 in all weather. Includes reading material for kids. Schools, send us an email if you want our ED Carolina Salguero to talk about this content. She was a photojournalist then and was on site reporting on all this and 9/11 at the time for 8 months.

Learn about the Great Boatlift of 9/11, and how mariners helped with firefighting, supply and support of Ground Zero, rubble removal, and emergency ferries. The maritime response lasted for two years.
