PortSide is teaming up with the sloop Clearwater to present a very special opportunity.  Take a sunset sail on the Clearwater while listening to PortSide talk about ship cats, both historic and current (i.e. Chiclet).  We have been collecting Red Hook cat waterstories for RedHookWaterStories.org, and we will recount them with pride.  There are tails of devotion, hairy escapes, rescues, bullies and international entanglements.

Time: Tuesday, September,30, 2025 at 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
5:30pm is the sail time, you need to arrive at least 15 minutes before then.
You must go to Clearwater’s website to get your spot. Tickets are not yet available (as of 8/13) but be prepared to pounce when they are.

The 5:30 pm sail is a flexible fare. These sails book up fast. Sails disappear from Clearwater’s calendar once they are filled. We suggest you book sail tickets well in advance. If you have any questions about the sail schedule, email: sail@clearwater.org.

When not sailing she will be tied alongside the Mary Whalen; an added feature of PortSide’s TankerTime.
